General Information
We focus on recovery from mental health and substance abuse disorders. Intake often takes an hour and medication delivered same day.

We offer morning and evening groups from Monday- Friday 9:00 A.M.- 7:00 P.M.

Services
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
About
(MAT) is the use of medications (buprenorphine), with counseling and behavioral therapies for the treatment of substance use disorders. Will get medication same day.
Outpatient Program (OP)
(ASAM Level I)About
Low intensity program providing substance abuse treatment in a non-residential setting.
Based on an individual assessment and a treatment plan, we offer regularly scheduled sessions up to 6-10 hours per week of individual, group, and/or family counseling.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
(ASAM Level II.1)About
A three to six month program recommended to those who do not need medically-supervised detox.
Services include: individual, group, and family counseling; case management services; addictive disease education; psychiatric consultation; social work services; psychological services for dual diagnosis; diet and nutritional counseling and education; and special groups for parenting, infectious diseases, anger management, co-dependency, criminal offenders, and trauma.
DUI/DWI Education
About
Certified by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to facilitate 12 Hour Alcohol Education Classes.
DWI classes are for those who may have an issue with using alcohol which has led to an arrest or charge of “driving under the influence” and/or “driving while intoxicated”.
Group Therapy
About
Group therapy is a process through which a small group of people (generally six to ten) meet face-to-face with a trained group therapist to talk about issues they are struggling with. Issues often include: grief/bereavement, anger management, eating disorders, substance abuse disorders, living with chronic depression or anxiety, recovering from childhood sexual abuse.
An opportunity to learn from others in a safe and supportive environment while working toward recovery and change.

About
Therapy that helps identify family patterns that contribute to a behavior disorder or mental illness and help family members break those habits. Family therapy involves discussion and problem-solving sessions with the family, hoping to improve communication.
Some of these sessions may be as a group, in couples, or one on one.

You will work one-on-one with a trained therapist to explore feelings, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward change.
A client and therapist may work together for a few sessions or several years, depending on the client’s needs and goals for therapy.
How to Apply:
1) Call us to schedule your initial appointment at (667)239-3195 where you will be asked to provide information over the telephone to help us evaluate if our clinic is your best treatment option. 2) You may be scheduled for an initial two-hour evaluation session, getting to know the therapist and providing him/her with some background about yourself and the reasons you are seeking counseling. The intake therapist will be able to answer your questions regarding services, fees, confidentiality and what to expect in therapy. 3) At the end of that first session, you will decide on a time slot for your therapy sessions (typically, the client and therapist will meet once a week, and each session will last approximately one hour). 4) At your second appointment, you will begin working with your therapist to set goals for your therapy experience and then begin working together toward achieving them.Child PRP
About
Upon admission to the program, trained rehabilitation staff meet with the child and his/her family, guardian or care-taker to complete a functional skills assessment. This identifies each child’s strengths, skills and psychiatric rehabilitation needs.
Activities are designed to improve behavior and develop age-appropriate skills.
PRP participants may have the opportunity to attend Group Therapy sessions when appropriate and available.
Eligibility:
Child must be 5 – 17 years old, actively participating in mental health treatment, referred by a Licensed Mental Health Professional, receiving treatment for a Behavioral Diagnosis, willing to participate in PRP services, and a Medical Assistance recipient.How to Apply:
1) Submit a Referral Form, along with a Professional Assertion of Need (verification that child meets clinical eligibility criteria) and a copy of the child’s current Individual Treatment Plan. 2) PRP staff will contact the family, guardian or Foster Care provider to schedule a face to face screening meeting to evaluate the child’s eligibility and the agency’s ability to meet his/her psychiatric rehabilitation needs.Adult PRP
About
The purpose of the program is to have services designed to teach or restore skills necessary for coping with mental illness.
Services target needs based on information from the referring mental health professional, a comprehensive assessment and meetings with the adult and his/her family.
Offers group and individual services for those who have experienced multiple, serious episodes of mental illness.
Eligibility:
Adult must be: 18 or older; Actively participating in mental health treatment; Referred by a Licensed Mental Health Professional; Receiving treatment for a Behavioral Diagnosis; Willing to participate in PRP services; A Medical Assistance recipient
