In a lending circle, friends and family come together to lend money to each other. You join a group of other lenders and make a monthly payment, typically between $50-$200. Each month, a new member of the Lending Circle receives the total loan until everyone in the group gets their chance. Click here to apply.

DACA Fee Assistance Program

About

MAF’s DACA Fee Assistance is a $247.50 loan with a matching $247.50 grant that covers the $495 filing fee to apply for DACA. The grant does not need to be repaid, but the loan needs to be repaid.

Fees:

Half of the funds ($247.50) is a grant and does not need to be repaid. The other half ($247.50) is a zero-interest loan. Monthly payments of $24.75 will be automatically taken from your checking account for 10 months. Your loan payment activity won’t impact your credit history since this is not a credit-building loan

Audience:

Past DACA applicants. First time DACA applicants are not eligible.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be eligible to apply for DACA, be ready to submit their DACA application to USCIS, and be able to provide a copy of your photo ID, such as an Employment Authorization Document (EAD), driver’s license, or other valid government-issued photo ID.

If you need help paying your USCIS application fee, you can apply for the MAF 0% interest loan. It will provide assistance to pay the citizenship fee ($725), DACA fee ($495), green card fee ($1,225), temporary protected status fee ($495), and the petition for a relative fee ($535). You can make low monthly payments to repay the loan and build your credit history in the process. Call the program or click here to apply.
