Energy, water, and rental assistance programs are provided here. You can visit one of the CAP centers in person if you need help with your energy or rental assistance application. For more information on the CAP centers, click here. Read below for more information on each service.

Water Assistance

About

Water4All will provide you with assistance if you are unable to pay your water bill or at risk of having your water service cut off. If you are in need of water assistance, click here to fill out the interest form. Click here to get more information on the program

Eligibility:

Your income must be less than 200% of the federal poverty line to be eligible for this program. If you are unsure whether or not you meet this requirement, call the program at 410-396-9500 to see if you qualify.
Rental Assistance/Eviction Prevention

The Baltimore City Rental Assistance Program is administered by the Community Action Partnership Centers (BCCAP) in the Mayor’s Office of Children and Family Success (MOCFS). Over the course of 30 calendar days, the Rental Assistance Program will provide case management and past-due base rental assistance for Baltimore City residents facing eviction. Security Deposit Assistance

If you are a Baltimore City resident, have an income at or below 80% of area median income, and have experienced negative financial impact due to COVID-19, you may be able to get help paying for a security deposit on an apartment or new lease. Once your application is approved, it will take five to seven business days to process and issue the payment. Go to https://www.bmorechildren.com/assistance to start your application.
