A new legal hotline launched to help assist Marylanders who have been sued by creditors in District Court. Volunteer attorneys will help to provide possible defenses, negotiate settlement agreements, and help file a Notice of Intention to Defend if applicable. The free counseling project has an operating mental health hotline with qualified mental health professionals to help people during the pandemic. To contact them you may dial 211 and ask for the WARMLine, or call the number below. Professionals will be available from 10am-6pm on weekdays. Mental health services may also be done via video-conference. For more information click here.
