International Rescue Committee's Baltimore office is temporarily closed for in person appointments due to COVID-19 but are currently offering services to help assist people with resettlement, health and wellness referrals, immigration legal services, and SNAP assistance remotely. Clients may reach the IRC-Baltimore office by calling the phone number below (to search by staff first or last name, please press 2 after dialing the number and extension) or filling out an appointment request form here. Once completed, a representative will reach you within 2 to 3 business days to schedule an appointment for assessment.

About
IRC-Baltimore is partnering with the Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) to offer free citizenship classes throughout the year. Classes will begin in April and last through June. All spring classes will be held online.

April 7th - June 16th on Wednesdays (6pm-8pm) & Saturdays (9am-11am)
April 17th- June 26th on Saturdays from 9am-11am and from 11:30am-1:30pm
April 19th- June 28th on Monday & Wednesdays from 6pm-8pm
April 20th- June 24th on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm

Eligibility:
To register contact Betsy Mackey (bmackey@bccc.org) or call 410-986-5433. On the first day of class students will provide a photo of their green card and complete a participation form. Registration will occur during the first two weeks of class only.About
IRC-Baltimore offers high-quality affordable assistance for legal services. This service assists with status adjustment, citizenship, employment authorization documents, temporary protected status renewals, DACA renewals and language translations. The youth success coaches work with 1-2 refugee youth ages 10-24 to provide support as they transition into Baltimore. Coaches help their mentee's with practicing English, homework, and integration into a local community. Mentorships will take place remotely for during COVID-19. Applications are open for Spring.
