The center has daily meals from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM every Monday - Friday. The center also serves dinner from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You can walk in to the center or call ahead if you have questions.

About
The Franciscan Center is giving away over 500 toiletry and food bags to residents in need this holiday season. You can stop by and pick up a bag from 10am on Thursday, the 23rd, until 10am on Friday, the 24th.
They are also having a Children's party, during which children can pick up free toys. There is a limited supply so toys are given out while supplies last on a first come first served basis. The Children's party will run from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, December 22nd.
El Centro Franciscano (The Franciscan Center) está regalando más de 500 bolsas de alimentos y artículos de tocador a los residentes necesitados en esta temporada de fiestas. Puedes pasar a recoger una bolsa desde las 10:00am del jueves 23 hasta las 10:00am del viernes 24.

The Franciscan Center can provide you with a referral for the Dental Clinic. You then visit the Dental Clinic and they complete the referral. Then, you take the referral back to the Franciscan Center. The center will send a check to cover the care in part or in full. The Franciscan Center works with the Safeway Pharmacy on Charles and 24th Street to help cover the cost of medicine / prescriptions. New prescriptions will be fully covered at that location. Transferred prescriptions will be discounted. Narcotics are not covered. Please call 410-467-5340 and chose option 2 for Client Services for more information and first steps.

Eviction Support (Apoyo de desalojo)

The Center will help provide money support to people with Baltimore City Eviction Notices. They will pay up to $200 toward an eviction total. This resource is extremely limited. You must provide proof that you have money to cover the rest of the cost. The check will be sent directly to the landlord and will be confirmed with the client.

The Franciscan Center has partnerships with various eyeglass businesses around Baltimore City. If you need eyeglasses, they are able to pay $70 for glasses and additional services. Please call 410-467-5340 and chose option 2 for Client Services for more information and first steps.

The Center will help people get Maryland Birth Certificates by supporting the application process and paying for the certificate. This is a one-time services so it is recommended that you safeguard their birth certificate once you receive it.

You will need some form of ID (driver’s license, social security, medical assistance, doctors note) to prove who you are. The Center will work with the you to create an application form, mail it, and pay for it. You are required to come back to the center to pick up with certificate.
