CASA works to provide employment placement, workforce development and training, health education, citizenship and legal services, and financial, language, and literacy training to Latino and immigrant communities.

Citizenship Assistance
About
CASA offers citizenship education, mentoring and interview preparation, application assistance, and post-naturalization support. They can help you fill out the form for US Citizenship, enroll you in a citizenship class, prepare you for your interview, and much more. You can walk in to the center Mondays-Fridays from 9:30am to 4pm to register for the Citizenship program. You can also call the center at 240-491-5774 for more information.

Legal Assistance
About
CASA provides a variety of legal services for low-income immigrants who are experiencing housing, eviction, employment and immigration-related issues. Please call 240-553-8970 if facing imminent eviction or consult pre-eviction interventions or housing-related issues. For non-emergency housing issues, wage theft, other employment issues, or information about legal consultations, please call 1-866-765-2272 and a member of CASA’s legal department will return your call.

Vocational Training
About
CASA partners with Community Colleges and other organizations to offer a range of vocational training classes to low-income immigrant communities.

ESOL Classes
About
Registration for the Spring 2025 session will open on April 8th and then classes will begin on April 21st. Click here for more information and to register.
Classes that teach you how to read and write in English are offered here. For Baltimore location, in-person evening classes meet Monday through Thursday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm with occasional Friday make-up classes at CASA’s Baltimore Welcome Center, 2706 Pulaski Highway Baltimore, MD 21224. For Montgomery and Prince George's County location, in-person evening classes meet Monday through Thursday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm with occasional Friday make-up classes. In-person Saturday classes meet from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Click here or here to register.

CASA provides a hotline in order to answer your health-related questions and help you to take care of your family. Services include health care referrals to doctors and dentists, as well as health insurance support. This hotline also provides information about unemployment applications and food stamps.
